This is Katelynne and Kessie, Sandie's daughters. We just wanted to let you all know that Mama has been very, very sick in critical condition. Right now she is still critical, but somewhat stable, so we are hoping to get the best doctors together and decide how we can just get Mama back to herself. We do know they want to get her home as soon as possible to gain her strength back for whatever is ahead. She went from being very healthy and happy, to fighting for her life almost a year ago. It's been such a long, hard journey. We love her SO much. She was SO humbled and grateful to find out you all had missed her on the board. Sweet Bliss and Sugar Bonnet have been angels, and, YES, despite her being in ICU, thanks to a very close family doctor, she has a very specical suite, and they've been able to be with us. We love them SO much. We have a door straight out from her room for them, Mama didn't want them "exposed" to anything : ) There's lot's of exciting news about the girls, but we'll let Mama tell! Katelynne and Kessie, I'm so sorry to hear your Mom is so sick again. Please tell her that we are all praying for her and hope to hear real soon that she's home again. That's wonderful that Bliss and Bonnet are there with her, I'm sure it makes things better for her. Keep your chin up girls it will be alright soon. Will you please tell mom I have tried calling her/no answering machine and was thinking about her!!!!!
I would love to send mom some flowers....will you email me her hospital address and hospital #?.....

I'm glad those 2 babies can be with you in the hospital...I know mom is so happy having her 4 girls there

Hello Katelynn and Kessie......KNOW THAT YOUR MOM WILL BE IN OUR PRAYERS!! Thank you for posting and letting all of us know on the board what is going on......we will be praying for Sandy.....please let her know she is in our thoughts and prayers......how wonderful that you were able to have a room accross from your mom....and with the dogs to boot!!!! What a blessing!!! Never heard of that before..........in our thoughts and prayers and PLEASE keep us posted on Sandys progress!!!! debi |

OH my, so sorry to hear Sandie is so Ill but I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers... You girls will take great care of your mother I am sure of it. Thank you so much for the update and tell your mom she has loads of love on the board here for her and we will wait patiently for her return... Let us know if you all need anything as I will be happy to help with what ever I can..

I'm so sorry to hear that Sandie has not been well! But it's good to know that she has the love and support of ALL her family (human and canine) at her side.
Please give my best wishes to Sandie for a quick recovery!

We are so sorry we haven't been in better touch. We've been by Mama's side. We wanted to thank everybody for all the kind words, thoughts, encouragement, and concern about Mama. She has really had a struggle and remains in ICU. However, things are looking a bit better, and we're praying she will be stable enough to come home very soon and just get her strength back. We've been reading the board to her when she's been up to it, and we know she'll be right back on as soon as she's able. Bliss and Bonnet have been such a blessing through all of this! We'll have some funny stories to tell you all when Mama gets out.

Thanks Katie for emailing me about mama.
You tell mama after the kids go to bed and Curt too..I will sit down and write a long email to her tonight ok. It will be late.
I'm just glad Mom is a bit better today!!!!!!!!!!!!....Ok Sandie girl...you fight like H*LL OK!!
Has those doctor's figured out whats going on yet?
