Pixie Bob kitties

I had to share
I'm getting 2 kitties around christmas. (My Scooby & Chuckie passed away about 3 wks ago)
So..We decided to add 2 more kitties . We still have Mr.Piggy and Rascal.

Anyways..Pixie Bobs are like Bobcats. Loooks and almost the size. These 2 boys should be BIG..about twice of the size as a normal housecat..maybe bigger. Like small dogs. They have Polydractly feet(extra toes) and ear tipping and no tail(stubs)

I need names

They are only 7 wks old now.

I also attached a picture of a 1/2 grown pixie bob cat.
Just to give you an idea on how they look and the size. I'M SO EXCITED

INFLAMED EARS!

I am sure some of you have been thru this before and can offer suggestions.( Camie i know you know what we should do!!)....our male, Digger LOVES to chew on our female, Daisys, ears!! And Rachel noticed that they were inflamed and smelly.....we have never had this problem before......when they play together thou, Digger will bite on her ears ....like when she takes his chew toy away from him....LOL! Anyways i looked at them tonight and they are peppered with red marks and looks like they might have even bled alittle and we did not realize it. I washed them with warm water( on the inside) and even used alittle hydrogen peroxide on some clean cotton pads.....we also have an ear wash that we use on them after taking them swimming....anyone else have any remedies. I will take her to the vet if necessary, but did not know if some of you have been thru this situation before and had advice( other than what we are doing) ......obviously some how we need to keep Digger from biting her ears!! LOL! That should be a HUGE challenge!! Our male has been so good up until now....he must be going thru the teen stage or something....he is getting more clingy, and hard headed!! lol......he is a sweet heart thou! Thanks for any suggestions!!

My Beautiful Baby Gracie

Robert and I had tracked Zoey's every move since the day we sent Camie our Puppy Survey in August. We had been so excited about the idea of a new addition! When we picked her up this past Saturday I feel in Love with her all over again! She is the most adorable thing ever! At first she cried when we left, which made me sad to know I was taking her from her family, but she eventually settled down. As Bonnie has mentioned the first couple of nights of the continuous crying in the crate is heartbreaking! Gracie however is doing so much better with the crate idea, she cries at first but settles down quickly and we take her out once in the middle of the night but other than that she is sleeping well in her crate!

She has gotten on to a pretty good eating/bathroom routine. We feed her and take her out about 15 minutes later and its like magic, she pees and poops, ha! We have had little accidents in the house which I am so suprised about! Her personality comes out more and more each day! She is into EVERYTHING!!! Wants to drag her bed across the floor by the tag, chew on the rug by the door, priss around with her chew toy in her mouth, roll around in the wet grass (especially with all this rain we have been getting the past two days), and of course crash hard after playing. She is a cuddler and loves to sleep snuggled up against something!

She has been a delight! Gracie gets along well with the dogs that live close by and does well with strangers, they all just love her! She did great at the vets office on Tuesday, was a hit with all the people that work there. She weighed in at 9.8lbs, our little chunk, and was given a clean bill of health!

Camie she is amazing and I am so excited about continuing our journey with her, I know she will bring us some good times! Thank you for everything! I will attempt to post pictures as soon as I can, she is such a stinker and in the moment that I get a perfect picture of her she moves and ruins the picture, ha, love it!
Behavior Changes Going Outside

Hey guys! Hope everything is great with all of you! I haven't been on in so long! Chad and I are still looking for a home for Harley. It's been 10 months and I'm mentally exhausted. We had a contract on one, but it didn't go through. This is our second contract we are waiting on for this awesome house with a GREAT BACKYARD! Keep your fingers crossed for Harley to get his own backyard soon!!!!

For about the past two or three weeks, Harley is not doing his business outside, or inside (thank goodness). He barks to go out, but when we take him out....he just wanders from grass to grass and just stands there and looks blankly and does nothing. I know he must need to do something because he hasn't done anything most times for at least 5 or 6 hours. Somtimes longer. When I take him to my mom's house....he seems to do better and using the "hurry up go out" he goes out. But here at the community it's getting really difficult. Maybe too many dog scents? Any advice to get him to go would be great! I just don't want him to give himself a UTI. We have been through enough drama this week.

Harley had this weird thing on the top of his head that we couldn't figure out. Thought maybe that I left a tick head in when I pulled one...but wasn't sure. I pulled the tick in March and this wound stayed there and was oozing. So I waited it out, tried home remedies, then took him to the vet in August. When I took him to the vet, they put him on antibiotics and said that if it doesn't help, then they will do more tests in January when he is due for his annual shots. Well, it didn't go away and just kept getting worse...like this big brown hardened spot that was very smelly and unsightly. So we took him in this Monday. They tested the oozing and it was full of bacteria. They also noticed that there was a lump near the infected area. They wanted to do surgery to check what the lump was (maybe scar tissue around a splinter or tick head). So they did the surgery and found what they called a cyst with a hairball in it. It was 2 inches long and about a 1/2 inch thick!!!! They said that sometimes the hair follicles grow into the scalp, instead of out of the scalp. Causing the hairball. They are testing the cyst just to make sure but they are 99% positive that it's benign. He looks like a little frankenstein now and has to wear the cone for a couple weeks until we get the stiches out.

The outside problem was happening before this....so I don't think they are related. Just a little (A LOT) scary this week. Who would have thought that he would have a cyst? They couldn't tell me why it happened. That's the scariest part. What did we do wrong??

Anyways....just venting and looking for some advice on the outside issues. And wanted to give an update. I will send pictures soon!

Hope all of you are doing great and your pups too!
